Scottish Leather Group (SLG) is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its Lang tannery this year.

Lang specialises in lime-split and full-substance bovine wet blue and wet white hides.
For most of its history, it was located in Paisley but in 2020 relocated to the group’s nearby Bridge of Weir site.

SLG said it has continued to invest in new technology to increase Lang’s tanning capacity and make the operation more energy-efficient.
