Polypropylene drum for beads launched at Tanning Tech

Turkish technology and machinery manufacturer, Ermaksan, has built and is introducing a new polypropylene drum that is purpose built to work with Qualus’ Sferes. The new “hybrid” drum can be used for retanning both with conventional process or with Sferes. 

Tanneries that are installing new drums can have them ready to use with Qualus Sferes from day one. The result is that they will benefit from lower water and chemical use in the retanning process and so produce leather more sustainably.

The new polypropylene drum is being debuted at Simac Tanning Tech in Milan from September 20-22.
