Packed programme in Milan overshadowed by uncertainty
A busy September schedule of events in Milan starts with the HOMI 2022 Fashion & Jewels Exhibition from September 16-19, held simultaneously with HOMI Independent for furnishing accessories.
These events are followed by the international footwear fair, Micam, September 18-20, displaying footwear trends for the spring-summer 2023 season. At the same time, edition 122 of leathergoods fair Mipel will take place with 120 brands showing their latest collections. These two events will be accompanied by TheOneMilano, a fair that showcases clothing.
From September 20-22, the 100th edition of Lineapelle will take place alongside machinery events Simac and Tanning Tech.
All the above events will be played out against a backdrop of soaring energy prices, widespread inflation, the war in Ukraine and the absence of Russian and Chinese visitors.
