The chief executive of Virginia-based designer and developer of leather collections Moore & Giles, Sackett Wood, has been appointed by the city of Lynchburg, Virginia, to serve on its Economic Development Authority.

The Economic Development Authority is the city’s “incentive arm”; it works to bring investment and development opportunities to Lynchburg and to “elevate its economic development profile”.

A native of Lynchburg, Mr Wood will serve on the authority for the next four years.
