Overseas promotions body he US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) is hoping to host upwards of 200 people at a trade seminar in Tokyo on September 16.

USMEF is celebrating the 45th anniversary of the opening of its office in Japan and said it wanted to run the trade seminar to celebrate this milestone.

Chief executive, Dan Halstrom, said the event would be the first large meat business venture of this kind post-covid in Japan. “More importantly,” he said, “it will be a chance to tell our story and remind people of the strength of US beef, pork and lamb.”
