Tibet company sees benefits from Zeology project

A company in Tibet called Third Pole of the Earth has begun using Zeology, the metal-free tanning system that Smit & Zoon launched in 2020, to tan yak hides.
As a result, the company has said, it is able to send less material to landfill. It is now finding it easier to find uses for fleshings from its leather production, for example as a source of collagen.
