Cruise-ship company turns to Poltrona Frau
Leather furniture specialist Poltrona Frau has worked with cruise-ship company Costa Crociere to provide furnishings and fittings for its vessels.
First, it provided new upholstery for the company’s Costa Smeralda. Following this, Poltrona Frau’s custom interiors division won a contract to work on a new cruise liner, the Costa Toscana.
It has provided furnishings for the bar and restaurant on the ship, fitting it out with its Archibald dining chairs, its Beatrice and Donald chairs, and its Ginger Ale armchairs, among other features.
It has also fitted out the ship’s auditorium with seating developed from the client’s brief and has installed 700 reclining armchairs in the vessel’s theatre.
