Strong regional support for APLF ASEAN
The organisers of APLF have said they have made considerable progress in terms of regional and international support for the APLF ASEAN event that is due to be held for the first time in Bangkok from October 19-21 at the renovated Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
So far, a number of national associations from the leather and footwear sectors of south-east Asia have pledged support for the event. These include APKI from Indonesia, LEFASO from Vietnam, the Hong Kong Footwear Association, the Philippines Footwear Federation, the Thai Furniture Association, Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association, and the Thai Tanning Industry Association.
Other industry bodies to have confirmed their participation include CICB from Brazil, FFTM from France, LHCA from the US, PTA from Pakistan and a representative group from Italy.
