Zero-waste leather on offer from Elmo
Swedish leather manufacturer Elmo has said it is now diverting 100% of all process waste to other uses allowing it to call its leather zero-waste.
As part of a wider programme it has called the Elmo Circular Operating Model, all waste from the company’s leather manufacturing processes is now being reused internally, recycled as raw material for other industries, or transformed into energy sources.
Elmo has taken the upcycling or circularity process even further so that 100% of all process waste is upcycled, recycled and reused as raw material for other industries or as energy.
