At the end of 2021, the French Fashion Institute (IFM) invited 50 students and entrepreneurs from its Fashion Entrepreneurship Center to present new projects. Their ideas were then considered for a new award, the AMI x IFM Entrepreneurship Prize.

Two companies, leathergoods producer ATXI and leather-dedicated art workshop Sed Nove Studio, teamed up to enter the winning project. Their winning idea was a new processing technique that uses laser technology to make finished leathergoods without adhesive or seams.
