Online seminar on the future of Italian tanning

Italy’s Leather Research Institute (SSIP) will host a free online seminar on June 30 with ‘The Future of Italian Tanning’ as the theme.

The aim is to compare the performance of chrome-tanned and chrome-free leathers over time in terms of their durability. 

The event will be introduced by Claudia Florio, coordinator of the department of biotechnology at SSIP. Laboratory technician for physical tests at SSIP, Maria Scotti, will deliver the talk.
