Leather and footwear research and testing organisation CTC hosted an information event in Paris on June 16.

This was part of a series of events CTC has held for fashion and design professionals in the French capital, with Rue de Cléry 64 as the venue. This has led to the series being called Découverte 64 (Discovery 64). 

French leather industry initiative Au-Delà du Cuir (ADC) has its headquarters at Rue de Cléry 64. 

At the June 16 event, two leather experts from the CTC, Thierry Poncet and Nathalie Hustache, led the discussion and answered questions. They said their aim was to dispel superficial ideas or misconceptions about leather, clarifying where it comes from, how it is made and what its applications are.
