Growth for leather exports in Uruguay

Export promotion agency Uruguay XXI has said earnings from shipments of leather and leather products from the South American country reached $53 million in the first four months of 2022.
It said this figure represented an increase of 23% compared to the January-April period in 2021.
Exports of finished leather contributed $14 million towards the total, an increase of 33% year on year.
