Russell and Bromley ventures outside UK
British footwear and handbag brand Russell and Bromley, owned and operated by the Bromley family since the late nineteenth century, is set to step outside of its domestic market for the first time by opening a new flagship on Dublin’s Grafton Street, one of Ireland’s major shopping arteries.
Scheduled to open during autumn 2022, the just over 120 square-metre space will house the company’s full men’s and womenswear collections.
Its reworked design and layout will be more akin to a luxury boutique than with previous stores, Russell and Bromley said, in a bid to reflect higher end positioning.
Chief executive, Andrew Bromley, commented that he was delighted with the new location, describing the Grafton Street flagship as “a major step on our retail roadmap”. He stated that he hoped the store would not only attract Dublin-based customers, but also shoppers from elsewhere in Ireland, as well as overseas.
