Leather industry leader to leave post
The chief executive of Wollsdorf Leather, Andreas Kindermann, is to leave the role at the end of June. Mr Kindermann, a former president of European leather industry body COTANCE, said he would either work in consultancy in the years ahead or accept a new management position.
He has spent 14 years at Wollsdorf Leather and has led its transition from being an Austria-based company to a global player, opening new production facilities in Croatia, China, Mexico and a logistics centre in the US.
In Andreas Kindermann’s time as chief executive, Wollsdorf Leather became the fourth winner of Tannery of the Year, in 2014.
He said he was sure Wollsdorf Leather would continue to be a leading global partner for its customers in automotive and aviation.
