Students from the Galileo Galilei technical high school in the leather-manufacturing town of Arzignano travelled to tanning machinery manufacturer Cartigliano on April 13.

Technology that the students were able to view included Cartigliano’s Just In Time drying and conditioning line and its radio frequency finishing process. They also observed a batch of bovine hides going through the whole Cartigliano drying process.

The team at the technology company said it had been delighted by the interest and inquisitiveness the students had shown and by the number of questions they asked.
