New role for former ICLT director

The former director of the University of Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT), Rachel Garwood, has taken up a business management role in the commercial team of automotive leather manufacturer Lear-Eagle Ottawa.
Ms Garwood became director of the ICLT in 2011 after working there as a senior lecturer since 2008, but left in October.
She said she was enjoying engagement with the final part of the supply chain: the supply of cut and sewn leather parts for seating for major automotive brands.
