Two-day course on offer at Cincinnati again
The Leather Research Laboratory at the University of Cincinnati will once again host its leather orientation course in 2022.
Companies involved in making or selling leather or products that use leather can send delegates to the two-day course, which this year will take place on October 5 and 6, with the Leather Research Laboratory on the campus of the University of Cincinnati as the venue.
Subjects the course covers include the physical structure of leather, species identification, hide supply, wet-end and finishing operations, regulations, testing and customer acceptance issues.
Attendees will also receive an in-depth tour of the laboratory and a book with various leather samples to take home and use as a reference.
The cost of this course is $985 per person with a discounted price of $885 for additional participants from the same company.
