Recruitment open day: 250 leather-sector posts on offer
Leathergoods manufacturers in France are to take part in a recruitment event in the city of Valence on March 8.
Organiser, not-for-profit La Plateforme Emploi, has said more than 250 positions are available for people interested in receiving training and building a career for themselves.
It said the event was open to people of any background but said it could be of special interest to people looking for a job or searching for a change in their career direction, or to people currently studying and in search of a position to move into on finishing.
It added that candidate would be able to spend the morning learning about the leather industry, hearing from people already working in the sector and meeting employers who are actively recruiting at the moment.
For the afternoon, La Plateforme Emploi said it aimed to organise a visit for candidates to a footwear and leathergoods training centre in nearby Romans-sur-Isère.
