The American Leather Chemists’ Association (ALCA) has shared initial details of its 116th annual convention. The event will take place at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, Illinois, from June 21-24, 2022.

ALCA had to cancel the convention in 2020 and 2021 but has said it is planning for this year’s event as though it were business as usual, in spite of ongoing covid-19 concerns, especially with the spread of the omicron variant.

The chief executive of automotive leather producer Pangea, Randy Johnson, will deliver the John Arthur Wilson Lecture.
