Jitrois genius behind Ariana Grande’s leather look
Paris-based Jean Claude Jitrois has emerged as the designer who conceived and made a stunning royal blue leather outfit that singer and actress wore on The Voice on television in the US in late November.
Ms Grande made her debut as one of the coaches during the most recent season of the singing competition and, in late November, attracted much comment for one of her wardrobe choices, a bandeau top, long skirt and long gloves, all in bright blue leather.
Several weeks later, Jean Claude Jitrois revealed that it was he who had created the garments.
The designer explained that it was the result of a collaborative project that he had worked on with Ariana Grande and stylist Mimi Cuttrell.
Mr Jitrois said it had been a proud moment to see Ms Grande wear the outfit on the show.
