Specialist French research and testing body CTC has announced a new partnership with Ars Tinctoria, an Italian laboratory with a particular expertise in colourants. Its laboratory is located in the heart of the Tuscan leather cluster in Santa Croce Sull’Arno.

CTC president, Patrice Mignon, said the Lyon-based organisation wanted to continue to expand in international markets, and not only in Asia. He said: “Italy is a country that plays a leading role in the fashion and luxury sectors. With an exceptional partner such as Ars Tinctoria we can strengthen our position there.”

He said CTC’s leather, leathergoods and footwear manufacturer customers would benefit greatly from having access to Ars Tinctoria’s resources in Tuscany.
