Footwear designer to host Paris Leather Encounters

An event called Les Rencontres du Cuir (Leather Encounters) will take place in Paris for the thirteenth time in Paris on November 15.

This year’s edition will be hosted by high-end footwear designer Philippe Atienza at his workshop in the twelfth arrondissement.

Participants will be able to visit Mr Atienza’s workshop and then hear a roundtable discussion. Themes the discussion will cover will include training for new-generation artisans and “the feminisation of the artisan sector in France”.

 The president of France’s Conseil National du Cuir, Frank Boehly, will be one of the participants in the discussion.
