Two leather manufacturers from Brazil, Courovale and OCM, will attend the ANPIC exhibition in Mexico; the next edition of the event runs from October 20-22 in León, Guanajuato.

Brazilian Leather, a joint project between tanning industry organisation CICB and trade promotions body Apex-Brasil, is supporting the attendance of OCM and Courovale at the exhibition. Brazilian Leather will also have a stand at the fair.

In the build-up to the start of ANPIC, CICB described Mexico as a stand-out market globally for footwear, furniture and automotive. The industry organisation’s trade intelligence officer, Rogério Cunha, said: “Mexico is the fifth largest importer of leather in the world and is moving towards growth for leather as soon as 2022. We are prepared to meet this demand.”
