For the first time in more than two years, the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers was able to host a dinner in London on September 16 for representatives of the UK leather industry.

Leathersellers is one of several ancient liveried companies in the City of London with a strong connection to the leather trade.

Addressing guests at the start of the event, immediate past-master of the company, Jonathan Muirhead, said: “This is a thriving, innovative, sustainable industry with a very bright future.

We at the Leathersellers Company remain clear that one of our missions is to support the manufacturing and use of leather in the UK.”
