Two tanneries in Zimbabwe, Global Tanners and Zambezi Tanners have become parts of the Sustainable Leather Foundation.

Managing director of the foundation, Deborah Taylor, said she thought that working with her organisation would help the new Zimbabwean partners identify priorities for improvement, reduce negative impacts from their manufacturing processes and increase positive impacts.

She explained that this development would help the Sustainable Leather Foundation, which launched at the start of 2021to support the leather industry globally, gain momentum.
