Footwear retail group DSW is to become the exclusive in-store distribution partner of the Hush Puppies brand. The change will come into effect in 2022.

Vice-president for Hush Puppies at parent group, Wolverine World Wide, Kate Pinkham, said she was thrilled to launch this partnership. She described the Hush Puppies styles that will be available in DSW stores across the US and Canada as “optimistic, colourful and comfortable”.

For his part, DSW’s chief merchandising officer, Jim Weinberg, said Hush Puppies was “a wonderful brand for millennials”. He added: “DSW customers have enjoyed Hush Puppies for years, and we are delighted to become the sole physical destination for this iconic brand in North America.”

DSW has more than 600 stores in the US and Canada. Hush Puppies will continue to sell on its own website, and internationally, but it will exit all other North American wholesale operations at the end of 2021.
