Alexa Chung works on capsule collection with Mulberry
Model, fashion designer and television presenter Alexa Chung has launched a new collection of bags with luxury brand Mulberry. The collaboration is the latest in a series of capsule collections that Mulberry has launched as part of its fiftieth anniversary.
Its relationship with Ms Chung began in 2010 when she inspired the Alexa, which Mulberry describes as one of its “most iconic bags”.
Mulberry based the Alexa on its vintage satchel-style briefcase, the Elkington, and the same product is also the inspiration for the Big Guy, one of the bags in the new Mulberry x Alexa Chung capsule collection. It is designed with versatility in mind, to be carried around all day and to go with everything.
The new collection’s other component, the Little Guy, is what Ms Chung has described as “a more elegant, slimline bag for evening”.
A new version of the Alexa is also part of the capsule collection.
