French industry body the Conseil National du Cuir (CNC) has announced Marc Brunel as its new director. He will run the organisation alongside its president, Frank Boehly, who was recently elected for a third term.

Mr Brunel will replace Béatrice Rousseau. He has worked at CNC for 20 years, taking charge of the organisation’s communications and promoting the APLF and ACLE exhibitions that CNC runs with events company Informa. He also helped CNC to launch and run its Le Cuir À Paris event in 2001; he continued to help run Le Cuir À Paris after the event’s transfer to Première Vision in 2014.

He came back in house at CNC in January 2021.
