French industry body, the Conseil National du Cuir, has re-elected Frank Boehly. Mr Boehly has been the organisation’s president since 2014; he has now been re-elected for his third term in the post.

On being re-elected, he said that in his previous mandate, CNC had represented the leather industry well before the authorities in France, protected leather’s identity well and showcased the craftsmanship and skill of the artisans who work in different areas of the industry.

For this new mandate, which will run until 2024, he said the organisation would emphasise the leather industry’s commitment to sustainability and respond to demands for traceability and transparency.
