Mercedes upgrades CLS coupé with additional leather

Automotive group Mercedes has chosen to increase the amount of leather it uses the latest version of its CLS coupé.

It introduced the CLS at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003 and has launched regular updates, with the most recent iteration reaching customers in August 2021.

The new CLS offers a new radiator grille, new line logic and an updated wheel selection on the outside.

Design updates for the interior include new types of wood, including open-pore brown walnut. “At the same time, the interior has been upgraded with additional leather,” the company said. This includes nappa leather in colour combinations of red-black, saddle brown-black, truffle brown-black, deep white-black and yacht blue-black.

There is also a newly designed steering wheel in nappa leather.
