Vicenza IULTCS EuroCongress will spark a Renaissance
The organisers of the third IULTCS Congress, Unione Nazionale Industria Conciaria (UNIC or the Italian tanners’ association), the national association of Italian leather chemicals manufacturers (UNPAC) and the Italian leather chemists’ association (AICC), have announced the theme for the event.
Vicenza, the provincial capital of the part of Italy that is home to the Arzignano-Chiampo leather cluster, will host the congress from September 18-20 next year, 2022. The organisers have announced that the theme will be ‘Rinascimento’, or Renaissance.
On making the announcement, they said the event can mark a rebirth for leather. They said autumn 2022 would be “the perfect time to explore the future of leather technologies” and that Vicenza would be “the right place to learn about up-to-date technical and scientific developments” and that the event would represent an opportunity to appreciate “the unique values of natural leather”.
