APLF postponed until November 2021
The organisers of the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong have announced that the 2021 event will now take place in November. They had planned to run it in July this year.
New dates the organisers have given for APLF are November 17-19.
They said this new postponement comes on the back of a Hong Kong government decision to extend a compulsory quarantine regulation until the end of September. They said the decision to postpone also came after “an extensive consultation with our industry partners, associations and most importantly our exhibitors and buyers”.
APLF director, David Bondi, said progress with vaccination programmes against covid-19 in many countries had given “an encouraging sign” that the situation will have eased by November and worldwide travel will resume.
APLF said it would launch a new networking marketplace online in April. Event director for APLF fairs, Grace Lee, said she thought this idea would help “keep the community connected” through digital channels. She added that there would be follow-up digital events in the months ahead “to keep the conversation going between buyers and sellers”.
