Chief executive of leather and leather products manufacturing group Pittards, Reg Hankey, will give the Atkin Memorial Lecture at the 2021 SLTC conference.

SLTC, the UK’s Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists, will hold its 2021 conference as a virtual event on Saturday, April 24. The Atkin Memorial Lecture, named after a former president of the organisation, W. R. Atkin, is the event’s keynote speech.

The programme for the 2021 event will also include a panel discussion on sustainability and a virtual tour of the Institute of Creative Leather Technology at the University of Northampton.
