Launch of leather with anti-microbial technology permanently tanned in

Leather and leather products manufacturing group Pittards has a new anti-bacterial performance leather called Tri Protex.
This leather has three different anti-microbial technologies incorporated into it. Pittards has explained that this combination will be enough to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria throughout the structure of the leather.
Its figure of 99.9% is in conformance with the AATC100 test, which uses an incubation of Staphylococcus Aureus and Klebsiella Pneumoniae, counting the microbial concentrations after 24 hours.
Because the anti-microbial functionality is “permanently tanned in”, Pittards has said the benefits will last the lifetime of any product made from Tri Protex leather.
