Packers from Brazil exported 1.85 million tonnes of beef in the first 11 months of 2020, bringing in revenues of $7.7 billion.

These figures indicate an increase of 9% in volume and of 14% in value compared to the same period last year.

Analysis of the figures show that 57.9% of all Brazilian beef exports between January and November this year went to China. Over the same months in 2019, China’s share was 43.2%.
