Italy’s main representative body for tanning and footwear technology developers, Assomac, is to hold its general assembly for 2020 on November 25.

At the meeting, which will take place online, Assomac members will elect a new president who will take over from Gabriella Marchioni Bocca, who has been president since 2016. Her successor will hold the role until 2024.

Also at the general assembly, Assomac will honour some of its member companies in its annual awards and it will also present a series of scholarships in memory of Amilcare Baccini, a former director of the organisation, who died in March.
