Cargill executive is the new chair of USMEF

The head of international meat sales for Cargill, Pat Binger, is the new chair of the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF).
Mr Binger has worked for the agribusiness group for more than 30 years, but grew up on a farm in South Dakota.
On taking up his role at USMEF, he said that 2021 will be a challenging year for the red meat industry owing to the ongoing impact of covid-19, but insisted he was optimistic about the prospects for export growth for US meat producers.
