Japan Leather Awards to go ahead
The Japan Leather Awards 2020 will go ahead as planned. A total of 205 entries will go on display in the Itscom Studio exhibition space in the Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Centre in Tokyo on October 3.
Organiser, the Japan Leather Industry Association (JLIA), has asked members of the public to look at the entries and vote for their favourite. Everyone who casts a vote will receive as a gift a lace of coloured leather that they will be able to put to any use they like, for example to wear as a bracelet or hair-tie.
JLIA will run seminars at the venue on leather production and on practical tips for the public on how best to care for their leather products.
