Automotive leather passes the hand-sanitiser test, Dani says
Italian leather manufacturer Gruppo Dani has carried out extensive tests to measure the effect on its automotive leather of hand-sanitiser products.
Drivers and passengers in many countries have begun to use alcohol-based hand-sanitiser products frequently as part of an effort to keep hand hygiene levels high and prevent the spread of covid-19.
Dani said its tests show that the performance of the leather continues to comply with the standards laid down by automotive companies, even after continuous contact with these alcohol-based products.
