Italian leathergoods group Piquadro has announced sales revenues for the second quarter of the year of €12.2 million. This represents a fall of 63.5% compared to the same quarter in 2019.

Group president, Marco Palmieri, has told local media that plans to open a completely refurbished Piquadro store in Bologna, close to the group’s headquarters at Gaggio Montano, plus a new store in the city for the group’s The Bridge brand. Later in the year, he said, new stores would also open in China.

In 2021, he said the group, which also acquired French brand Lancel in 2018, would open seven new stores in Russia and in a number of Asian countries.
