Franca-based tannery Couroquímica will present a range of leathers under a new brand name, Biopelle, at Inspiramais, which will take place online from August 25-27.

Couroquímica, which is part of the same, vertically integrated group as footwear company Carmen Steffens, emphasised ahead of Inspiramais that the leathers in the Biopelle range are made with fashion requirements in mind, but also that they are metal-free.

The group said that the idea for Biopelle had come from global surveys carried out by the Carmen Steffens creative team.
