Pleasure for Paraboot CEO as artisans return to work
High-end French footwear brand Paraboot has said it returned to producing at full capacity on May 4.
After a period of being shut-down, the Paraboot opened its doors again on April 6 for partial production and to prepare its facility in Isère, near the Alps, for safe working conditions for all employees on their return to work.
Production levels built up over the course of the month of April until reaching full capacity again at the start of the first full week in May.
In a statement, chief executive, Eric Forestier, said it was an important milestone for the company. He said: “We have been able to reopen the doors of our lovely company again to continue building up the Paraboot story, the story of a French brand, part of France’s Patrimoine Vivant [‘Living Heritage’, official recognition of excellence in its traditional and industrial know-how], where we add the elegance of discretion to an incredible authenticity.”
Mr Forestier said it was a pleasure to see the Paraboot artisans at work again and a joy to share the news with the wider world.
