Organisers of the Sustainable Leather Forum have confirmed that the event will go ahead in Paris on September 14 as planned and have announced the first speakers.

They include Gustavo Gonzalez-Quijano, secretary-general of Cotance; Wolfram Scholz, director of W2O Environment; Christel Schilliger-Musset, a director of the European Chemical Agency (ECHA); and Luc Mounier, a professor of animal well-being.

The programme has been modified to address more aspects of risk management. Sessions include: raw hides and tanneries, innovation and best practices, the circular economy and corporate social responsibility.
