Fujian-based tanning group Xingye Leather has become a member of Material Exchange, an online platform that aims to make material buying easier for footwear and fashion companies.

Stockholm-based Material Exchange launched in 2016 and set up its initial digital materials library the following year. It launched in the US in 2018 and in China in 2019. It secured $2 million in new seed funding at the end of 2019.
