Genesis Motor Europe, the premium brand of South Korean carmaker Hyundai, has appointed Lo-renzana as its new head of sales. Mr Lorensana is a former executive for Aston Martin and Maserati.

According to Autocar, the move signifies that Genesis is getting ready for its bolder move into the European market. Although there hasn’t been confirmation of when and exactly where, there were already plans lined up for Europe in 2020 and the UK is expected to be a major focus of the expansion.

William Lee, global head of Genesis, said the appointment of Mr Lorensana demonstrates the brand is strongly committed to Europe and its luxury automotive market.
