APLF 2020 postponed again
The organisers of the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong have said it will not be possible for them to hold the event on the rearranged dates of June 1-3 and that a further postponement will be necessary.
APLF 2020 was originally to take place at the end of March but the organisers said in February that they were postponing until June 1-3 because of the outbreak of Covid-19.
In mid-March, however, the Hong Kong government announced that any visitors arriving from outside China between March 19 and mid-June would be obliged to observe a 14-day quarantine.
These new orders mean it would be impossible for exhibitors and buyers to participate in APLF, the organisers said. They added: “We are working diligently with Hong Kong venues and stakeholders to consider what available options will benefit all concerned. We will make another announcement very soon regarding APLF 2020.”
