Indian leather accessories maker Hidesign is expanding with new flagship stores and outlets throughout the country.

Plans include flagships in Pondicherry, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad, according to local media, as well as some 16 other outlets. This builds on the brand’s existing 102 stores and a distribution network in 25 countries, which includes the UK’s House of Fraser and Australia’s Myers and David Jones.

The Deccan Herald reported that the company expects a growth of 5% for the year ending March 2020, but that disruption from the coronavirus is squashing business for the month of March. Founder Dilip Kapur also told the paper that the brand’s e-commerce is expected to grow over the next year.
