Leather accessories maker goes eco in new collection
Sustainability is a key feature of the Spring/Summer 2021 collection from Vivolo, a Bologna-based leather labels and small accessories maker.
The theme of sustainability in the collection results from "the development of pioneering concepts that focus on the combination of zero-impact processing techniques and state-of-the-art materials,” the brand said, referring to the line as RE Vivolo.
Environmentally-friendly attributes can be found in several aspects of the line, including the use of leather which is recycled, solvent-free and vegetable-tanned, as well as other organic and recycled materials.
The company said that “technical inspirations remain the most direct expression of the research and innovation work led by the inhouse R&D team”, with the use of high-performance materials and low-impact processing techniques.
