Call to leather businesses: host a pop up in a John Lewis store

20/03/2020

High-end British department store John Lewis is offering businesses the chance to host a pop-up stall in one of its stores as part of the Great British Pop-Up initiative.

Leather UK, which shared information about the opportunity with its members, said: “In these uncertain times, small businesses must continue to look to the future.”

According to the Great British Pop-Up’s website, participants can rent and manage spaces on a weekly basis. “You can design, curate and deliver an exciting, experiential version of your brand safe in the knowledge you will benefit from high footfall, fantastic in-store promotion and marketing activity,” the organisation wrote. “It's a fabulous opportunity to meet and greet new customers, boost your sales and increase your brand awareness.”

If pop-up sales during that period show significant potential, it added, John Lewis may take a given brand into their main range.
